BSPORT

PROMOTIONAL VIDEO DESIGN
2026

bsport is a management and booking platform for boutique fitness and wellness studios. As part of the launch of its revamped Branded App, bsport needed a promotional video to introduce the new experience and communicate its key improvements to both existing clients and potential prospects.

The brief was to turn a broad set of new features and product improvements into a clear, engaging piece of brand communication, while also creating excitement around what was coming next.

The project was created in collaboration with the motion designer Sebastian Infante. I defined the overall visual direction and developed the storyboard, while Sebastián brought the concept to life through animation.

THE CHALLENGE

The new Branded App introduced improvements across multiple parts of the member journey, from a redesigned homepage and simplified booking and purchasing flows to easier discovery for new users.

The challenge was to communicate a large number of new features in a promotional video in less than 30 seconds, while keeping the message clear, engaging and easy to digest.

Simply showing the real app screen by screen would make the video feel like a product tutorial and require too much information to be processed at once. We needed to find a way to communicate the functionality while keeping the experience fast, engaging and easy to understand.

THE STRATEGY

Rather than reproducing the app exactly as it works, we identified the key interactions that could communicate each feature and represented them in a more straightforward and visual way.

Animation and motion became the main tools for this promotional video for bsport. Clicks, selections, transitions and screens could be exaggerated and connected to communicate an entire user journey through a few simple actions.

This allowed us to fit multiple features into a 20-second format while keeping the video dynamic and easy to follow.

The focus was less on explaining every detail of the product and more on finding the simplest visual way to communicate each improvement.

THE OUTCOME

For the bsport promotional video design, instead of simply placing screenshots of the interface, we used movement to represent the actions members take inside the app. Clicks become transitions, screens flow into one another, and individual features are connected through continuous motion.

This created a visual shorthand for the new experience. The animation also allowed us to give the product a sense of energy and personality. This was particularly important for a product operating in the fitness and wellness space, where the experience should feel dynamic, modern and inviting.

The creative direction was deliberately more visual than explanatory. Instead of telling the audience that the app was easier to use, we designed the video so they could immediately see that it was.
